Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Ok at this point I'm really starting to get annoyed with these. No new weapons, maps, or gamemodes. Just new microtransaction shit to buy. That is not an update. And all of the maps from summer are still horribly broken. Barely any work has been done on them at all. How does a game that generates so much monthly revenue receive so little support from the developers? I expect this shit from the greedier publishers but since when does valve do this? What little new content there is is usually made by the community and is usually just more weapon skins or other cosmetic items to buy. I still love this game but the f2p microtransaction store BS still remains this games big gaping flaw. It almost makes me wish this game were not as successful as it is because it encourages other publishers to follow the same monetization model. And how is this game still so buggy? It's unreal the number of critical bugs I run into every time I play in a game that's 8 years old and has probably made around 100 mil in revenue at this point. Every time they fix one a new one pops up.
