Super Fort Kart: Halloween Edition.
Too bad I can't play.
Hmm from what I read I thought there was karts but when I joined the map I saw players moving about and shooting like normal. I can't do much since ping is too high so I didn't want to stay to check things out.
It's basically a remake of doomsday with spells that triggers a special event when the win condition is met (similar to plr_hightower_event). When one of the teams delivers the package to the top of the rocket it begins one of two go kart games (randomly selected).
I'm not that impressed with the mini-games to be honest. It's a very ambitious/creative idea but poorly implemented imo. In the elimination game the platforms are too small, the go karts turning too poor, and the player count too high for most people to last more than a few seconds each round. And the soccer game has the same problems. Too many people combined with turning that makes you feel like you're driving on ice means you just get a mass of people bumping into each other around the ball barely able to move in any direction. In 6 v 6 it would probably be a bit less chaotic. I still applaud them for trying something new though.
Thanks for explaining how it works. I was reading how control of the Karts such as turning was poor but since this uses the same engine as HL2 it's understandable.
Right... Now VAC has decided that it would be fun to try randomly kicking me. Seems to allow me to play again after some time, but isn't stable or reliable in any way.
Thanks, Valve.
(And no, I didn't cheat, or do anything to my TF2 at all.)
Well there has to be a reason. It's a computer program so it's not doing it because it hates you. Do you have any d3d DLL injectors running? Driver modifications maybe? I've never had any issues with VAC.

Whats really fun is just turning back into a normal player in the go kart sections, and being an engie makes this absolutely hilarious. Plus you can bypass the minigame TP, so you'll just drive around the normal TF2 stage, and if people from both sides do this im pretty sure elimination games can literally last forever.
Nope, never changed anything.
Oh wait, I updated my nvidia drivers today. It's highly unlikely that that is the problem though.
In any case it's actually rather rare, and I don't mind too much.
"Added End of the Line Community Crate"
r u ready?
O Fortuna, velut luna, statu variabilis.
The day before yesterday I forgot to remove from my offer some items I had showed to a guy but which he didn't agree to buy, and ended up trading away items worth about 4 times as much as what he had offered in return. Soon after, he added me as a friend, and asked me (with utterly horrible grammar) whether I meant to give him all that. Then he sent me a trade request, and only once I accepted did I realise my mistake; but before I could do anything, he cancelled the trade and blocked me from his profile.
The worst part is that that was almost all I had, 4 ref's worth or so. I know it's not a lot, but I've been trading for like 1-2 weeks at most... And I lost nearly everything.
And yesterday evening a random guy noticed somebody else finding an EoL crate drop. After he expressed his excitement in chat, I offered to give him the four I had, and in return received about 2-3 ref's worth of robot parts and a professional killstreak fabricator.
Tl;dr: one day I have my most valuable items stolen (partly because of my own stupidity), the next day some guy gives me almost the whole value of what I lost for pretty much free, while constantly repeating that he has way too items himself and he doesn't know what to do with them.
