Lte should be fine or so I was told, 3G on the other hand is definitely shit for online gaming.

The TF2 pub mentality:

- Get rightfully airshot with grenades while double jumping and air strafing as a scout, switch to soda popper and atomizer to be as annoying as possible.

- Get two shot as a spy, one shot then another shot after cloak because I predicted where the spy was going, spy switches to dead ringer to be annoying as possible.

I loathe the dead ringer and loathe the current short circuit. For the dead ringer I bounced a spy way up into the air with a grenade then followed up with an airshot grenade. Thanks to the dead ringer the spy survived then continued after my teammates, I was punished for a skilled shot thanks to gimmicky broken shit that exists like the dead ringer. So thanks to weapons or buffs that exist due to spam it punishes skilled players and well placed skilled shots.
My TF2 really likes to randomly ask me if I want to quit

Edit: it must be these macros on my keyboard that are the left side, if I don't configure them to anything they default to the function keys and f10 happens to make TF2 ask you if you want to quit

You can stand 10m near the radio tower and it won't change anything if it's the actual connection from the ISP to the tower that's the problem. There might be their network to blame, LTE itself should be fine, assuming there aren't a fuckton of people connected to the same tower.
So Valve supposedly nerfed Heavy and Engineer (yeah right) but feels more like they buffed them in a way.

- Heavy's damage output was nerfed by 20dmg to 25dmg but if his minigun is spun up for a second or more he basically gains sniper like accuracy/spread and deals way more damage to players outside his original effective range for damage since the L&W update. Normally where I was fairly safe at before outside the effective minigun range I now take massive damage at that range so if a heavy rounds a corner I have to immediately get out of the way.

- Sentries are dealing more damage than before to me making them more difficult to deal with as Demo or Soldier. Whereas I could take a sentry out with relative ease using the right class/loadout I now struggle. Besides damage I'm taking more knockback than before, I was killed by sentry bullets from a sentry around a corner before I rounded the corner into sentry range. I was just standing near the corner without going around it and still got killed by a sentry, I originally thought sentries and other buildings weren't lag compensated but this happened with an Engineer with over 500ms ping.

Btw I know some/most of you might be busy but I'm itching to play Two Cities Mann Up MvM. I want to play on a team with mostly friends (three friends at least) because I don't want to be votekicked by idiot randoms abusing votekick.

Something big seems to be coming.

- Possible skill based matchmaking, improved matchmaking, improved server browser and official support for competitive?
- Optimization, overhaul and/or port to Source 2?
- Balancing?
- EOTL?

- All of the above and more?

Alt tabbing out and into TF2 is once again very smooth, the smoothest it's been in a long while. There was a 1.9MB update early yesterday then a 33MB update that changed several core files. From what I could see it was changes to SFM, Hammer stuff, localization and client/server stuff and the server browser dll.

This change is going to rebalance the whole game. Sniper duels now require more precision and allow less guesswork, really punishing the less accurate sniper.

In a way, I guess sniper is now what it's supposed to be; a class for masochists and the extremely accurate.
Yeah but it's not like the less accurate sniper was going to be scoring headshots on an enemy sniper jumping, strafing and crouching so all in all not much of a change. Besides there is still strafing and crouching, if anything this will make it slightly easier for a less accurate sniper to hit their bodyshot or headshot.
