Anyone want Crysis 2 Steam gift in exchange for some TF2 items? This game has been in my inventory for a while and would like to get rid of it but no one showed interest when I had it up for trade before.
Decided to try Tf2 on Linux Mint. Performance as horrible.
I was using a pre 3.13 Kernel though. I now installed 3.13.10 and we'll see if it's any better
Need fweinds for Mann Up to minimize votekick abuse. Earlier this week decided what the hey and joined a Mann Up game, did well and was votekicked by idiots after winning the round.
I would offer myself, but I just started playing video games with my real life friends again. I also haven't played TF2 seriously in forever.
Related to that, I brought one of my real life friends to a short pubstomp that I was doing, 'cause Wind Waker and Terraria nonstop got boring, and I must say that the new hats look nice, like a real advantage.

What GPU drivers are you running? Mint is picky with it's drivers/kernel combo...=\

fglrx. It works fine after I enabled tearless desktop AND VSync always off. The tearing sucks though.
Tearing always sucks. I have no idea if they plan to fix it for the linux drivers any time soon; it seemed to be far worse in linux than in windows, and they fixed it with 14.4 RC1 on windows.
Does anybody here surf? I'm thinking of taking video of my surfing (namely, the map that I got top 10 out of thousands on), and putting it on youtube, but I feel like if I do that, then I'm going to get people idolizing me instead of realizing that I no-lifed that map for a year and a half and still manage to not be as good at it as the guys who are busy no-lifing other maps and still have the world records on every map.
Problem is, you can turn off the tearing. However then the game lags even though it runs at 200+FPS. AMD Linux drivers are shit.
I can vouch that claim.
I tried playing TF2 on my Xubuntu installation while I was stuck without windows after I got this motherboard, and I found that it was either have ~25 FPS with tons of microstutter, mouse lag, and frame drops, or have 40 FPS with tons of microstutter and frame drops. I'll never do that again.
