Just got my device and it appears ping is around 100ms on my selected favorites.

What is the best ping you get though?

I think 75ms - 95ms but it is frequently spiking up to over 500ms. Only two goddamn bars of 3G coverage, fuck these corporations that can't even offer decent cell coverage a few miles outside the city.

I haven't even set up a plan yet. I just activated the device and can somehow use it to browse secure sites and play TF2.

Seems about right. I expect a 3G modem to add about 30-50ms over hardwired.

So I guess no TF2 for you?

100 ms ping feels and plays like 200+ ms. Not to mention I am getting horrid performance with my single GTX 460, on low settings at 720p resolution the game is dropping to the high 20fps or 30fps.

Doesn't sound right. What CPU do you have? That might be your bottleneck.

Yeah, on my ATi 5830 I can max everything out at 1080p (4x MSAA) and still get 60 FPS unless I play MvM XD

It would be nice if my ping was consistent, every two seconds it seems to spike up over 200ms and sometimes 500 - 750ms. I am tweaking network settings to see what I can improve, perhaps the connection is throttled until I choose a plan. They made an oversight with the service by making it so you could connect to the web to activate the device and choose a plan. This allows me to play TF2 and access secure https websites without a data plan. I am waiting for my bank card so I can buy my data plan it's just too bad I can't pay for more than 6GB per month.

Can anyone help me with some Tour of Duty tickets? I'll play Mann Up mode with whomever can lend me some tickets, I will give whoever some items later on when I re-build my inventory.
