Well I also wasn't trying to dodge because I didn't know what we were doing, but I guess I was moving a bit and it did catch me of guard :p
You might as well been running around and dodging like crazy with my .5 interp and 700ms ping.
I am going to be heading to a wireless store to see if I can at least get 3G internet for a decent price. Hopefully that will resolve the latency problem but I won't be able to download much of anything on a cell phone data plan.
At least here in Austria there's a provider that offers an unlimited flatrate over 3G. Isn't there something like that in the USA too?
I get unlimited 4g on my phone

(they recently added it to my area)
Did you make sure they also don't throttle you? I downloaded over 1TB overnight one day and they didn't say anything^^
Well my plans are delayed. Never count on a friend to give you a ride that can't understand and follow simple directions. My dad might be able to drive me but by the time he gets home from work the wireless store will be closed. So I am sol until next week at the very least, tonight I'll cash a check, reload my prepaid card and order service through Millenicom or Virgin Mobile. I can't get service through Verizon, AT&T or Sprint since I owe a bill to the former two and the latter won't accept my credit since I have bad credit.
Virgin Mobile and sprint are the same so i find that interesting. Also I doubt I get throdeld, I use it a lot to make sure I get my moneys worth :3 (In fact I actively avoid wifi unless I am home because of this)
Brace yourselves, hopefully next week I'll be back in action. I wonder how much data TF2 uses, how long can I play before burning through 6GB. Presuming I only play stock maps, disable custom sprays, sounds and other custom content?
@ExtremeDude2
Who's your service provider?
I'm pretty sure unlimited data is completely dead in the USA at this point as long as you don't count:
1. People grandfathered in under old contracts
2. Technically unlimited plans that throttle once you go past a certain point
3. Smaller carriers with terrible coverage. Especially to rural areas.

Video games use barely any bandwidth. Around 32 KB/s usually in my experience. The bigger issue with 3G for you will be latency. While better than satellite or dialup it's still going to be a lot worse than a proper landline.
Streaming/download video and downloading games suck a lot of bandwidth. Those you definitely want to avoid on 3G.
