This doesn't really change much. You can do all of the things you mentioned with two stickies as long as you place them close together. Three stickies usually just makes you hit the ceiling unless you do it at a really acute angle.
Well since you all didn't realize yet; this really only concerns me and ExtremeDude2. As of last week TF2 can detect multiple instances of TF2 and limit your drops. This means no idling multiple accounts with Sandboxie, accounts must either be idled individually or one instance per virtual machine with software such as Vmware workstation. If you idle more than one account at a time only one of them is eligible to receive drops. So if you haven't hit the drop cap don't idle an alt while playing since only one account will get drops and you will pretty much throw away drops for any other instances you have running at the same time.
I still think it's ridiculous that people go to such lengths to get in game items.
Well mass idling is basically free money. A means to not spend a month getting drops just to buy or craft a hat costing one refined. A quicker way to obtaining rare drops and filling your backpack if you don't want to spend much money. Basically idle F2P accounts until a salvaged crate or a valuable tool drops then upgrade to premium to trade it to your main. Also help keep prices of items low because of the steady supply of new items entering the market. No more idling for the casual amateur player that is new, mass idling now requires power hungry virtual machines and only if that isn't patched soon. Idling accounts one at a time will leave little to no time to play, before you could idle while you play or sleep. Eventually prices of items will rise and only hardcore traders with decent backpacks or lots of money will be able to afford rarer items that are currently accessible to more players due to idling.
I stopped idling when you had to confirm the droped item
The value of my bp went down $26 for whatever reason. It was $508; now it is $482. :/
Well I decided to "cash" in seeing as how I am moving in less than two weeks and will no longer have the means to play TF2 for a while. I was hoping when I moved I could at least idle my accounts so whenever I had access to decent internet again I could trade and get more stuff; it was unexpected Valve was going to essentially kill idling therefore that plan is now out the window. Decided to trade nearly all my hats, stranges, vintages, genuines and other items to get some new games I've been wanting to play; games my sister, mother and I would possibly enjoy playing together. Still keeping some stranges to use for now when I play until I move. I am keeping some stranges I got a decent amount of kills with so I don't have to start fresh again. I can't remember how many times I got over 1,000 kills on a s.Grenade Launcher only to trade it away.
We won the next 3 games also. Degreaser + Axtinguisher, i love that combo

Now do it on the bad team

Still waiting for them tuxes to be tradable
