Your cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate is kind of pointless (I think) as most servers are 66 tickrate servers and very few 100 tickrate servers. But if it works for you then it's alright I suppose. Btw how do good do you think I did sniping, considering my ping to the server?
So I went to back a Dustbowl pub server and I suddenly suck again at playing sniper..

He clearly has no idea what he's doing. Either he's just throwing in commands that he doesn't understand at random or he copied this from some forum where somebody else did just that. Sorry CryZENx but half those lines won't even do anything. The other half doesn't make much sense.

yep complet agree with you, most servers running with 66tickrate, even using cl_cmdrate 100 / cl_updaterate 100 is completly useless because you are sending only 66 packets each seconds, but the reason to use the cl_updaterate 99999999 value is to get the lowest interp (0)
edit : another thing you could do is to use : TCPoptimizer,
since TF2 is udp based, this doesn't do anything but maybe it could help also
get the programm and use the optimal settings, and don't forget to enable TCPNoDelay 1 / TcpAckFrequency 1 = sending smaller packets without alot delay
and after you restarted, make sure to disable Autotuning
Hey Naturalviolence, do you use the free or paid version of dxtory?
Aaaarrgggg. I plundered the "paid" version of ye software.
I'm completely terrible at this and I know it.
im using fraps for recording btw

Noooooooooooooooo, now how am I suppose to break physics?
Yeah this didn't make sense when there are other weapons more in need of proper balancing. I suppose some people were upset because Demomen could easily jump behind defenses and camp spawn then cap the final point. Maybe the TF2 team realized this as I haven't seen any complaints about the sticky launcher posted publicly.
