At any rate, the intro crash is an OS X specific issue. Windows and Linux seem unaffected. The solution is to run Dolphin on another OS, save the game as soon as possible after the intro, and transfer the save back to OS X. You'll need to use Dolphin's emulated memory card, which means saving in-game like you would on a real GC rather than using save states. I detailed instructions on how to do so

Yes, you can use
Apple's Boot Camp software to dual boot into another OS. If you happen to have a Windows installation disk (XP, Vista, or 7) you can use that. If not, you'll have to buy one to do it legally. Linux is free in cost, and I think you can use Boot Camp on Ubuntu, even though Apple makes no mention of this in their support pages.
is there anyway dolphin or the next mac update will stop this crash?
