But it is nice that they don't Tongue
Yeah but Intel is gods, who would go against them?
AMD isn't what they used to be, at least not in the CPU market.

This ^^ Big Grin
I thought we already established that gabriel is rich? Remember that thread where he was about to upgrade to sandy bridge-E because he felt his sandy bridge rig was "getting old"?
All those 1%'ers look the same to us. Smile

the reason behind the upgrade was more the feeling
to make a present for himself...
(think psychologically)
compensating problems...
Well I ain't a rich millionaire if that's what you all think.
I have had some well paid jobs over the years which have made it possible to save a lot of money hence why I can buy these "presents" dannzen likes to call it.
I know it's easy for me to say that I don't care what kind of prices Intel charge when it is at it is but really I couldn't care any less about it.

But dannzen is right, I have been buying stuff to compensate personal problems which should have been obvious by now.
I have learned that I can't buy myself happiness, instead just do something about the problems and I'm on a good way to do just that.

Compared to most people (even middle class) you are. Compared to the rest of the people in this community you definitely are.

And that would be why. Ultimately this is what makes most people "rich" (or at least richer than most). Except the super rich which tend to use financial systems like trust funds to stay wealthy.

Be proud of your financial power, you can buy more hats than the rest of us:
