Quote:Maybe price is no object so it doesn't really matter what they charge, just face it you just must have an Intel to any cost.

The grammar in this sentence is so poor that I can't figure out what you're trying to say. Please rewrite it.

Ha ha that's a joke right? You seriously telling me that you can't understand that sentence.

Ok in pure english:

"I don't care what price Intel takes for their CPU's, I want to buy an Intel CPU no matter how high the price is."

I'm outta here...

"Pure English"
Always the best kind of English.

all cpu's run better on 8

and sandybridge keeps kicking bulldozers ass on 8.
This thread should have served its purpose the day Bulldozer came out.
I agree.

Bulldozer vs. Sandybridge = Sandybridge kicking ass

There is nothing more to say here, eventough I don't like this results.

EDIT: Hey, Squall is back Wink
what a fucking let down "bulldozer" aint much better than the phenomII Sad
Nonetheless, a friend of mine has bought fx4100. I'll bench this baddieboy soon. However, I have a feeling that one certain word will be enough to summarize it's 'achievements'. (the comparison will be done to e8400 to make it fair).
Can't wait to see what will happen when Dolphin run on Bulldozer.
It will run slower than Phenom II which run slower than Core 2, and you know how much SB improves upon its predecessor.
ivy bridge>sandy bridge E>sandy bridge Q> sandy bridge D2/D3>gulftown>bloomfield>lyynfield>clarkdale>wolfdale>conroe/thuban/zosma/deneb/heka/callisto>yorkfield>kentsfield/propus/rana/regor>agena/toliman/kuma>allendale

That's in order of dolphin performance. Notice the entire top half is Intel only. Wolfdale still outperforms anything AMD has despite being 3 years old.

I'll save you the time: http://www.guru3d.com/article/amd-fx-8150--8120-6100-and-4100-performance-review/1

The fx 4100 will win in heavily multithreaded software for sure but the e8400 will kicks its ass in everything that isn't effectively using 3/4 cores. A better comparison would be against a core 2 quad yorkfield (which would win in pretty much everything).
