anyone have close to what I have for a rig?

8Gb Ram

Just wondering what the best settings are for this I experience good Game Play but... Some times she slows down a bit AKA Super Mario Galaxy 2

So any advice as to what to set my stuff on..

I use my 42In HDTV to play if that makes any difference I don't know lol

Your computer Specs are fine.
They can run most games at full speed.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 runs slowly on most computers.
You would probably need at least 3.8GHz to notice little slowdown.

The HDTV doesn't make a difference, just changes how much resolution you can obtain.
