If you want to get 100% fullspeed you may try to overclock the CPU. I saw a GREAT improvement in Dolphin when overclocking my Core 2 Quad Q8200 from 2.33 GHz to 2.93 GHz.
Also, close any background program you are using, even anti-virus (just enable it when you finish using Dolphin) and use Game Booster (it will close all unnesary processes and services and it will restore it when you exit the Gaming Mode. It just rocks)

KHRZ, I have my resolution on 1024x768 all the time. But no matter if I put it to 1900 or 800, nothing seams to change. Picture stays the same. FPS stays the same.
And I also never use Anti-Aliasing as it just lags too much. And even if I do, I see now change in graphics (except this really really small changes that don't matter).

Again I don't know how to do that.
But I'll try GameBooster.
This is foony.
You claim to be a pc geek, yet don't know how to overclock...(it's super simple) btw your cpu is a piece of shit for dolphin.
i7 2600 k here @ 4.4 ghz, some games still lag here and there. I think Sonic Colors is the most demanding of the games I've tested which is only a few.

I never claimed I'm a geek and I know shit about Dolphin. But obviously you had to tell me how good your computer is, how shitty mine is and how simple is it to overclock, yet you didn't tell me how. Honestly ..

Just one precision : If you haven't got Wii I may suppose You haven't got games you've been playing to am I wrong?
Are you running in fullscreen? (press alt + enter). If you can't see the differencece then don't worry about the wii

... Apparently I'm retarded. I don't see a difference between 800x600 and 1900x1600. The pixels are just a little bit bigger and that's all ...

And no, I dont.

Yes the pixels are the difference...Dodgy

What did you think the numbers stand for?

ya its about 6.33 times more pixels with 1900 x 1600, witch u could consider 6.3 times better quality, if ur internal resoulution is good, get my cpu or overclock i get full speed on most games even mario kart wii with 3 people, the one couse i lag on is the n64 bowsers castle and its just a little bit
