have you tried updating your directx 9c and the C++ redist? (links can be found on requirements thread here)

*EDIT* just like Daco said I've never had a problem downloading either (although i now compile myself)

Rule

I installed C++ redistributable. I didn't tried with DirectX yet but I think Vista SP1 already got latest Dx drivers?

EDIT:
"-The DirectX March 2009 Runtime: This fixes the plugin loading errors
Note: THIS MEANS UPDATE YOUR DIRECTX EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE VERSION 9.0c or 10 or 10.1!!!!!!"
I will try to update DX Smile
Vista has directx 10, Dolphin requires files from directx 9c

Rule

I don't think so. DirectX is backward compatible, and it isn't probably possible to instal older version on Vista. Anyway, I'm downloading the updates now, so I'll check soon.

EDIT: There are no plugin errors now, but:
Quote:---------------------------
Warning

Can't create opengl renderer. You might be missing some required opengl extensions, check the logs for more info

OK

I'm using Intel GMA x3100, which probably isn't supported. Does it work with Dx plugin instead of OpenGL? Is there any 100% compatible small game to check does it work ? Downloading 3 GB may take a long time ; P

Yes directx 10 is backward compatible but you still need to update directx 9c, it wont damage 10, it's just the simple fact that Dolphin requires files which are found in directx 9c and not 10.

Also Your wasting your time Intel chipsets don't support OpenGL properly, you can try the old direct3d plugin but as for OpenGL it wont work, check requirements thread for more info.

yes it is backwards compatible but it needs the files of dx9 for that backwards compatibility to work completely Tongue
