Hi,
So, I really to play wii games on dolphin. I have a mac and recently downloaded dolphin. The problem I have is when I open the program, I get a dead-lock during start-up, and then after waiting for a while, I use a force quit and it gives me a error message saying "the application dolphin quit while unresponsive"
I only downloaded the program and nothing else, should I download other things to help make the program work? Any help would be appreciated, totally new at this.
Here are my Specs:
Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics Chipset Model:GMA X3100

You won't get Wii games working with this...
I have a similar set-up but a dedicated graphics card. You'll need to install windows via bootcamp if you want a performance boost.
Is there anyway to get dolphin to work with my current specs without having to pay money? Like a free download or something?

Yeah, bootcamp with windows.
Can you give me a link as to where I can find bootcamp with windows?
Bootcamp is in the Utilities section of mac, all you need is a windows disk now. Borrow one from a friend or pirate.swf
jeah the holy grail to dolphin is directX...
mac, directx? negative
windows, directx? positiv

Hi! Dolphin 7655 on 10.6.7 works for me on my Macs as follows:
1. MacBook
- 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, 256 MB
2. MacBook Pro
- 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo
- 4 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT, 256 MB
3. Mac Pro
- 2.66 GHz Quad Xeon
- 6 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 120, 512 MB
I didn't test Dolphin v3, yet. Perhaps your OS version, namely 10.5.8, is too low. Give it a try on 10.6.7/10.6.8 or on the upcoming 10.7, releasing in July. Moreover - as a general tip to accelerate your entire system - you should expand your RAM to at least 4 GB/max. 8 GB - 2 GB are too low!
