I dunno, for me it isnt so bad since here hardware is so expensive the contrast is not that high between a built PC and an alienware, plus it is good stuff after all. I dont have one because I dont have the money for an alienware anyways, whether it is bought from the store or built by me with the same hardware....
Hyperbole, Alienware is excellent. And i wouldn't go around advising pc building to non-savvys.
there are cheaper preBuild Gaming Rigs with OC from the reseller and 2-5years warranty
30-50% saving against alienware... dont be dump
Supply some links my friend... "don't be dump"
http://www.ultraforce.de/

not dollar but euro...

i checked the prices against alienware...
no Chance for dell Wink

there should be nearly the same reseller in other countries... just buy a gaming magazine... there are enough ads

Power button sticks basically all the time, eject button had sticking issues before that have mysteriously disappeared for the time being, and, most importantly, it can't read discs consistently. It's like what all those Wiis did with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, only it also has disc read errors in-game and sometimes takes a while to load some things. And it can't load a relatively clean Super Mario Sunshine disc at all.
It just occurred to me that all I need to fix that main issue of the disc read errors is probably a cleaning kit of some sort, but I'm not sure where to find one and that won't stop the sticking power button that may somehow wind up just breaking in general at some point...

A sledge hammer will do the trick.
i5 2500k + some cooling
4 GB DDR3
560Ti/HD6950(modded to 6970)
would be the best all-around spec.
GPU plays a minor role here.
