Hi there,
I cannot find the equivalent of the "safe texture cache" slider in the new revisions of dolphin. As a results, I cannot get anythinbg written in some games.
Where has it gone or what have I to do to obtain the same result ?
Thanks !
In the dx9 graphics --> hacks tab.

No, STC has been obsoleted since the merge of the texcache-rewrite branch.
Now we're defaulting to the "safe" setting all the time.
True it is where it used to be but i cannot find it in rev 7635. I will check once again.

Is that the same speed a "fast" use to be?

That explains it, I'm still on 3.0.

I don't know how it is supposed to behave performance-wise. From what I gathered it's sometimes slower and sometimes faster...
At least, there's still a little room for speedup in the D3D9 backend which doesn't depalettize textures on the GPU, yet. That only affects certain games and scenes though..

OK I understand why I cannot find it. Now the problem is that the behaviour of dolphin on several games is now more on the "fast" side than on the "safe" side. And it is not the same for DX9 or OGL. Should I post an issue or there is a turnaround ?
Thanks.
What do you mean with that? oO

MP3 : with OGL I have no text, with DX9 I have it but the emulation is slow
Grand slam tennis : DX9, text is correct but the colors are strage...
