Dolphin tends to run slower on macs, and your graphics card dosen't help much either... Installing windows via boot camp would allow you to use the Directx 9 plugin which should give you quite a speed boost...

Really? Wow, much appreciated. I kinda thought I didn't have enough RAM to run windows. Would you suggest XP if I do decide to go that direction?

Win 7: 64-bit if you have the money, Win XP: 32-bit if you do not.
Ya windows XP 64 bit is a no no because.....well...have you ever heard of a 64 bit program for win XP? exactly.
I have a similar macbook!

You really need to install a windows os under bootcamp. I went and installed xp and saw a huge performance boost. It seems OpenGL doesn't work as well with most games as DirectX (which is not w/ Mac).

I have a 2GB DDR3 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 Ghz, and a nvidia 320M with 256VRAM. You have double the RAM, but not quite as good a video card it seems.

If you own New Super Mario Bros Wii, I would try that out. I get 60 fps at HD resolutions! However, you will find that game to game the performance on your macbook fluctuates.

Enjoy your macbook! They really are the best Smile
2gb ram is still enough for dolphin....
dolphin uses 500mb to the max!

you need massive cpu power for dolphin... and directX... both not included in a mac book
