Is there any emulator for Nintendo 3ds ? if not , when we will see an emulator for 3ds ?
It's going to take a decade or more alone just to break the encryption to run 3DS backups on the actual hardware if that's even possible considering 3DS games use AES encryption which is the strongest form of encryption that makes past and current copyright protection methods look like a pathetically weak joke in comparison. Then another 5 - 10+ years just to code an emulator if anyone wants feels like coding an emulator, which of course would have poor compatibility and performance until the emulator advanced enough.

Everyone can get the thought of playing 3DS games for free out of their heads, purchasing the hardware and games will be required for at least the next several years. Playing backups on the actual hardware likely won't be possible for a long time and emulating the 3DS will take even longer. By then everyone that wanted to play 3DS games would have already purchased a 3DS and 3DS games and probably wouldn't be interested in emulating the system anymore. If anyone waits 10 - 20 years for an emulator to play 3DS games for free, then they need serious help or a job. Tongue

This has nothing to do with Dolphin and isn't even up for discussion as it isn't even possible nor will be for a long time, so I am closing this thread like the other threads where the same thing has been asked.
