ahh gotta love spam, but hey, this is the INTERNETZ NO?, there has to be always someone to offtopic shiat

this questions are sort of relative right? (actually the answers..) because one could wonder if rev 14 is faster than all the others why bother with the others? (the end user of course) i mean yeah that rev only runs 3 games and 2 of them are unplayable but HEY! its the faster evur right?
i can play zelda - the last battle at 1356 FPS!.. its hard though because there is always a black screen that doesnt let me see whats crackin but 1354 FPS!!
so yeh rev 14. (forget bout all the others and all the hard work devs have been doing, all the time they have spent of their lives working to make it better each day, FORGET IT YOU GET REV 14)
EDIT. sorry forgot to add smiles, this IS THE INTERNTZ,

XD :O O:O O_O ¬¬ X_X. there you go

Fastest revision
without glitches / lockups / missing graphics:
For most games,
r6505 (or
r6515) is the fastest. Zelda:Twilight Princess and Kirby's Epic Yarn, for example, run like greased lightning
For Donkey Kong Country Returns and for more speed in NSMB Wii
with EFB to RAM effects enabled (spinning coins and animated blocks), you need
r6891
For Sonic Colors and FF: Crystal Bearers, use the latest official release (
Dolphin 3.0 *)
* NOTE: Avoid the latest SVN trunk builds like the plague (for now). The latest texcache-rewrite merge broke a lot of stuff (say hello to invisible graphics, dark textures, polygon breakup glitches, black squares instead of shadows, corrupt textures, wrong colors and much more

)
*** 2014 UPDATE ***
----------------------------------------
R6505, R6515, and especially 3.0-stable are old, slow and buggy piece-of-crap builds - DO NOT USE THEM !
Use the latest development builds instead - they're faster, more accurate and more compatible. Fast with MMU, fast on vertex-heavy titles, great HLE sound. The only downside of the dev builds is the slower EFB-to-RAM and CPU->EFB Access performance (but still much faster than those old crappy builds).
For fast EFB-to-RAM and CPU->EFB performance, use Ishiiruka by Tino. The 'Fast EFB' option does wonders.
The "new r6515"
--------------------------------
And what about those with old, weak CPUs?
If you have an old CPU and find the dev builds or Ishiiruka way too slow, you still have a choice - you may choose from 3.5-351 and 3.5-1124. They're far better than the old crappy builds and much faster than 3.5-stable (which is slow and buggy)
* 3.5-351 is extremely light on the CPU,even faster than Ishiiruka but requires a beefier GPU. Use this one if you're CPU-limited.
* 3.5-1124 is very light on the GPU. It can run at very high IRs even on crappy GPUs, but requires a better CPU. Use this one if you're GPU-limited.

Updating this thread since there's still a lot of people using old builds such as the "golden" r6505 or 3.0-stable, searching this forum for the "fastest build" and linking to this thread with outdated / false information.
Old thread is old.
