Is v-sync on? I had lots of similar stuttering in some spots in some games until I started using vps limiting + v-sync.

uhh, no. He has an amd system, where ich drivers won't work.

It should work for me, my chipset is nvidia, although my CPU is AMD.

But my friend has a newer PC, he has an amdchipset (and like me uses an amd cpu) then should he look for support on AMD/ATI, right?
I had nforce drivers installed when I used xp, when I changed to seven I thought the native drivers would be good...

EDIT: yeah it seems to be v-sync related for some people, I never use v-sync, but my friend must, I dont know why, but the "desync" looks much worse on his screen. Also, while I was helping him, if there was something I could notice is that NVIDIA drivers are much better than ATI's... (he got an ATI), to solve the problem he tried use HadeonPro, some sw that does the samething catalyst does and a bit more from what I could see ^^ didnt solve this tough...

Am I the only one who snickered when reading the topic title? I figured the only strange "sluttering" is the sluttering not found around college campuses.
