I was wondering if multi player can work with 2 dolphin emu's on one pc Or on LAN some how,
just like how X-link kai works.

Yes, it technically is possible to use NetPlay on two instances of Dolphin on one PC.
Make all adequate adjustments to Dolphin's settings using one instance, and open a second process; then, in both instances of Dolphin, go to Tools->Start NetPlay, configure one instance as the host and another one as the guest, and have the guest rejoin the host's session.

If you don't have a CPU with at least 4 cores (2 for each Dolphin on the same PC), you'd better disable "Dual Core" mode, which is a good thing because it increases synchronization and accuracy.
Also try disabling "Idle Skipping", and using the LLE emulation of the DSP if you have the required files. These should increase the synchronization even more, although it will sacrifice speed (especially in this example since the DSP would be emulated twice).
(either that, or use Virtual XFB emulation, maybe?)

As for NetPlay through LAN (or even through Internet), I don't really see why it wouldn't work (as in, "not desynchronize"), provided that you stick with stable-enough options such as the ones above.
Be warned, acceptable speed and high accuracy can probably only be put together with players that have powerful CPUs...


(also, NetPlay apparently doesn't support Wiimotes at the moment - only GameCube controllers)

The following works for me:

In the first Dolphin:
- Tools->Start NetPlay, open the "Host" tab;
- Choose a game that supports GC controllers, and press the "Host" button.

In the other Dolphin:
- Tools->Start NetPlay and look inside the "Connect" tab;
- Make sure that the address is "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" and that you use the same port (2626 by default);
- Press the "Connect" button. If there's no blocking of ports, the connection should be successful.
