I'm using an Xbox 360 controller, which has pressure sensitive triggers, just like the Gamecube controller.
When playing Melee on the emulator, I can only get one of the following things to happen:
1. Pushing the trigger by any amount causes my shield to be full sized (in other words, it thinks the trigger is being held all the way down)
2. My shield is pressure sensitive, but I can't air dodge, meaning it doesn't register the trigger when it is all the way down.
Advice? Do I need to clarify anything?

Should I do R+L analog
and R+L?
Or just R+L analog?
Also, should I have it set to AND, OR, or NOT?
And what about the thershold?

1. yes
2. no
3. leave alone
4. ???
This is what I currently have:
Right now, it (my shield) is not detecting different amounts of pressure.
That is what it should be.

Then what's the problem?
Dunno, but please stop PM'ing me.
L/R analog is for pressure sensitive pressing threshold is how much trigger is pressed, its useful for people like me who dont have triggers, so i set them to 50% to work with something like super mario sunshine.
Normal L/R should be 100% pressed.
BUT this would be with a normal button/non triggers. i mean normal L/R when held down all the way on the triggers should make it 100% i would imagine.
If not, then you have to do it the opposite way.
Where L/R = partial held, and L/R analog is 100% held, but you need to set threshold to 100%.
Try and and see if it works out.
If not idk what to tell you.

Problem solved. Thank you.
