Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I downloaded the latest version of dolphin, and the only game i am interested in playing is smash bros brawl. however despite all of my attempts to change settings, the game runs at about half speed.

i have read the following thread:

which claims that r2680 is the best to play smash brawl. i cannot find where to download it.

please can you help me download this, or if there is a better way to play smash brawl on dolphin please let me know.

r2680 was perfect when first post was written you can get this game working fine now easily with not that much boring settings...

oh i didn't realise, i'm new to this, i've tried changing different settings including the recommended ones, but it always runs slowly.

my system as described in the OP should be able to handle it so i dont know. any advice?

r6505 use dx9 backend and try at 640x480 with 1x resolution

Display resolution is almost irrelevant for performance.
