I'm considering building a computer, and I was wondering what specifications would be required to run most games, like Super Mario Sunshine and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I'd be willing to spend around $2000 or more... for now I'm just calculating what kind of hardware I'll need and how much to save up. :p
go with i5-2500k or i7 ... watercooling
oc to 4.4ghz
and a badass new gpu

or wait for the ivy bridge
