dolphin needs at least 2.5ghz duo core for gameCube games
and above 3ghz for wii games
min gpu low res
nvidia 8800 equivalent ati gpu
min for 1080p
nvidia 260
ati 5770
netbooks arent compatible at all
they lack on cpu and gpu power
netbooks != subnotebooks
(same size different hardware)
Uh, what is this with the common misunderstanding that clock speeds matter? They don't(or at least, are a very small factor) , try running a Pentium 4 @ 3.2GHz and compare with a Sandy Bridge 2500 clocked DOWN to 2.4GHz. You'd get much better performance. What really matters is other things like the architecture and the cache etc. Sorry, this just bothers me honestly, when people say "You're gonna need to clock that Athlon II up to 3.5GHz if you wanna get good scores at all" just saying, it's a huge misconception.

jeah sorry i meant
intel core 2 duo architecure at least (or equivalent amd)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Core_2#Duo.2C_Quad.2C_and_Extreme
iam understanding the requirements very well ...
but listing every cpu with min clock is just to much for this guys...
iam out befor going on a rampage
Assuming he's getting constant fps, he's definitely getting better speeds with a netbook than what I get on Linux with my rig and latest rev.

What would you say? You need a CPU capable of 20GFLOPS/core that can achieve an average IPC 2.5.
