Now, I'm totally clueless as I remember on my old computer about 6 months ago, I had my sensor bar working totally fine on Dolphin (with my terrible PC

) however now I can't seem to get it working and was wondering how to set it up.. I still have the official one of course, but pointing at it isn't working and I remember having it work perfectly still being hooked up to the wii and I had no clue how but it worked, so I was happy.. Anyone mind shedding some light?
Sensor bar does not send/recieve any data. all it is doing is drawing power from the wii, which lights up a few IR lights inside, the wiimote detects those lights and tracks its location relative to the sensor. All data is sent via the wiimote. I suspect that if you are unable to get any trackign info, your wii is not sending power to the sensor bar, probably because the wii is not on to do so. I recommend a USB sensor bar, as it can draw power from a source that will be on while using dolphin, otherwise get a wireless one which uses batteries but you will need to change the batteries every so often which can be annoying if you don't realize why its not working.
pick a digital camera(or your handy cam) and make a photo of the sensorbar
the ir leds should be visibile
2 or 3 lights on both sides
(ir light is visibile with digitial sensors)
if they are visible there is no problem with the bar
maybe the batteries of the wiimotes are running low

Should be 6 (the 2 in the middle do not count and its kinda hard to see some of them

)

No lights when Wii is turned on.. Gonna assume it's broken or something but I do need a new one anyways. Any USB ones you guy'd suggest? Preferably wireless, so I can easily move it back and forth from my TV to monitor.

what is the point in that?!
damn i mean cable
and hilarious
damn keyboard typo
it was the first time i was right with taking picture of the sensorbar ö-Ö
but @topic could it be that the original wii sensor bar is off without connected wiimote?!
it would extend the lifespan of the ir leds while playing with classic controller

Nope it should be on as long as the wii (or whatever is powering it) is on.
