I'm not sure if its the Dolphin Emulator or the game Zelda: Twilight Princess but when playing sometime my game would just freeze up randomly. There is no error message and its not a specific part of the game, because if load Dolphin and play again I can pass that part, but its happening every so often and its getting annoying now. Dose anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Again I would like to say that its not a specific part of the game that keeps freezing, I just started the game so I'm still in the village, but some part at where it has froze at was when... Opening the gate when crossing the bridge with Epona. Starting the Slingshot Test after showing it to the kids. And another part I can't remember right now, but I will play it again too see where it will freeze up again and post back...

Other then the freezing the game runs very nicely and looks very beautiful on my computer. Sometimes I would hear a Beep every once in awhile... I'm not sure what that is or if thats even important. I have played and beat the game on the Gamecube and never heard that weird Beep sound before, and no its not Link low on health. The Beep sounds sort of like a truck or something backing up its just one single beep though every so often. I have no clue why it keeps occurring.

My Computer Specs (My computer is fairly new I just recently built it.)

My Emulator Set up, I used this guide

Direct 3d9 Graphics Setup

Note I don't know much about any of these options... (Emulator or Graphics) so I left most of it how it is and just changed the options to whatever the guide recommended. If there anything I should change or you would recommend for me feel free to also mention it.

Thanks.

First uncheck all hacks except external frame buffer. And you might want to enable cache for a speed up.
set texture cache to fast rather than safe for Twilight princess (all the way to the right)

the default has map update issues and no filtering on the map.
annd it froze again... after talking to the first guardian spirit at the spring, anyone know why this "Random Freezing" keeps happening???

I'm not entirely sure but I don't think its the game, because wen I played Wind Waker it also froze after 20-25min of game play... Aghh this is getting annoying someone please assist. Sad

and Thanks for the tips I've changed Texture Cache all the way to Fast and unchcked everything under hacks beside External Frame Buffer and Checked marked Cache Display List.

Oh, sorry(Blush) I meant enable cache for RAM.
And uncheck "Ignore Format Changes"
I know this may sound like a joke by now but its not, the game froze again after 10-20min of playing... I've changed the setting to what you guys have recommended but this Random Freezing is still happening and I honestly haven't a clue as to why...

Last time I didn't even save because my game froze, so I replayed it and it froze before I even got to the guardian at the spring. It froze just before I was about to pick up the wooden shield in the house.

Here is how Hacks for Graphics is is now; every other settings and options is still the same as in the previous Screen Shots.

If there is anything else that you guy would need to know that I might have not mention feel free to ask, because I don't know what else to say the Freeze just happens there is no other error message then what is shown in the screen shot, and I was not doing anything that I would think that might have cause the Freezes I just play the game no alt tabbing in and out, no other weird things.
What are your temps? Maybe you system is unstable.
try low resolution... try on 2.0... with projection hacks... audio throttle... did you try all of this?

My Temps? Where would I go to find that?
edit: So did google search and i'm assuming your asking about my computer temperature right? I don't know if this is enough information if you can tell me a better place where I can find it then please do, but i just looked at my Control Center program and this is what it showed. Sorry if this isnt the right thing.

I have not tried any of thoes yet, but I will right now if I can figure out what some of thoes are. I know how to change the resolution and how to enable audio throttle, but I'm not quite sure about What or Where the "2.0" or the "projection hacks" is.
