I'd like to know some things about our great emulator :
-when has it started to be developped?
-how many guys were there to do this?
-which game first worked?
-how many beers have been drunk then? Big Grin
the last question can stay unresolved... Tongue
I know for a fact that Dolphin was originally developed by F|RES & ector and that the project started in 2003 as an experimental Nintendo GameCube emulator that could boot up and run commercial games.

However, it had terrible performance and many games crashed on start up or barely ran at all; average speed was from 2 to 20 FPS and audio was not emulated at all.

Dolphin became an open-source project on July 13, 2008.

What the first game was I don't have a slightest clue of Smile Nor how many beers that have been drunk.
Also when they made it open source they also added basic wii support.
By then the project was stopped since 2007, when they had released a Final version ^^
For my surprise, Wikipedia have all history of Dolphin!
