Well causing slowdowns and crashing is an example of what they weren't supposed to do. I guess the fifo commits were meant to fix issues with games not booting, hanging or crashing due to buggy fifo code. However there was either no change with some games or it made some games worse and caused issues with some games that ran fine before. I really hope performance is brought back to it was in the early 6xxx revisions and even the 5xxx revisions.

and it seems to get worse... for example r7442 is the worst crashing/hanging/glitching version I've tried...
