mmm I tend to think the contrary but it's a good question... Wink

Because PAL has a lower frame rate (50)

yes so the 60Hz version should be faster shouldn't it?

No, because there is less frames to emulate. i.e. lets say I have a computer that can run a PAL game at 40 FPS and a NTSC game at 40 FPS the PAL game will run much smoother and faster. (at lest that is what I understand Tongue)

well if I hear you that breaks all my theory about PAL/NTSC game speed Tongue I gotta test that but that means I'm gonna have to find NTSC versions of my games... Big GrinTongue
Unless the port is half assed and they just run the game slower for PAL like FFX.
I'd hope all Wii games supported PAL60 so no need to get NTSC versions.

I talked for my GC games Wink
Hey guys, I posted this question earlier in the general forum, however I meant to post it in this one. I hope no one minds for me bringing my problem over here. Pretty much, I am looking for the best possible laptop to run dolphin at full speed. Unfortunately I am not able to get a desktop. Can anyone point toward specific models that would work well? Only requirements are a 10 key, a 15 inch screen or larger, and something under $1500. is it possible?
I stopped reading at 1500 Dollars.

Yeah, I would love to have a desktop. It would make things so much easier. However I can't, I am going to have to settle.

haha, so you pretty much got all the way through it and stop 3 words from the end. yeah, i feel like i should pony up the extra cash but bills need to be paid and its hard to justify spending more. atleast I'm not paying 2500 for an apple logo
Hm, an Alienware would do the job...
