The 3DS launch titles were pathetic. If you were into a portable SF4, great for you, everyone else barely had anything decent to play. I bought Samurai Warriors: Chronicles and that kept me going until OoT 3D came out. The Wii U's launch titles are much better. There's a good variety even though some titles look a little late to the party (ME 3 for example, been out for a while). It really looks like Nintendo tried this time. Lesson learned, I guess.
I hope some block-busters will come quickly though
My only concern is Pikmin 3. They said that it would be coming out during the Spring in Japan, but I can't exactly find out whether it will still come in time for the holidays here. Pikmin is one if my favorite game series, so I'm very excited for Pikmin 3.
I have zero confidence in this new batch of consoles. I figure at least one of them (maybe two) is going to have cooling issues that render the console broken and unusable. I'll let all the early buyers pave the way for me to find out which console(s) to stay away from.
Dunno about cooling issues, but there's probably bound to be issues. Red rings of death for the 360, yellow lights of death for the PS3, next-gen growing pains is what I call them. The current and past generations of handhelds seems to have held up better, problem-wise, though battery life has somewhat suffered. Wonder what the battery life for the giant controller.
They already ran out of preorders on the Deluxe Edition in my area D:

It's literally been a day, how could this happen so quickly? GameStop is out of it after a day?

I guess I'll have to try Target and such.

3-5 hours according to Nintendo. A little short for my tastes, but eh, the controller is already really pricey as it is...
Well, as long as I can play while it charges and the cable has a decent length I have no problems with that.. Btw, will it charge connected to the WiiU or the wall?

I'd guess it charges thru USB
It charges through the wall. Nintendo said that they will include an A/C Adapter cable for both the Wii U and the GamePad with the US Wii U bundle.
