I probably should Tongue

kenoh

is this dolphin 3.5 AVX ICC Optimized)+OpenMP. "would love a stable version of that."
ED2 doesn't compile with ICC Tongue
is there any possibility to get GPU acceleration to get the emulation outsourced onto GPU and not CPU that much?

I am asking cuz SMG is only getting 50FPS on my machine. Is there any way to get ICC or any speed up version of 3.5?

thx LordVador, but I wasn't able to find an ICC version of the new 3.5 build. only 3.0 builds Sad

anyway: are the ICC versions really faster on an intel CPU? and why is it that ICC is not implemented into the standard dolphin builds?

Yeah but you could post in Vlad's thread for example and ask him for an ICC version of 3.5 or any build you want (or PM him).

They may be faster indeed. You aren't supposed to need this to get your games to work properly that might be the reason why this isn't "implemented" by default Tongue
ICC is only the Compiler Tongue (ICC = Intel C++ Compiler). With this compiler, it's possible to set SSE instructions (Streaming SIMD Extensions = SSE), for example SSSE3, SSE4.2 or AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions).

Dolphin supports SSE4.2 by default. But there is almost no difference between SSE4.2 and AVX Wink It might be placebo whatever... The difference of performance may be bigger or smaller, depends on the PC system.
