Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

All of a sudden Dolphin doesn't work for me.
I get this error. Had this same computer for awhile only difference is that i have Windows 7 Home premium instead of Vista business.....
Wonders what's wrong.

I have HP 6717b btw.....

Hmmm odd..... I switched from Vista business to 7 home premium and had to reinstall dolphin.....I kept getting a pixelshader error so i downloaded one of the earlier 3. versions (which ever was the one after 3.0)

The game i wanted to play was Gotcha force...it'll load like normal but the graphic textsure is distorted......cant really see most of what's important. I could play dolphin w/o a problem before i upgraded to Windows 7 so idk if it's because of that or not.....

My laptop runs at.
1GB RAM (yea sad i know)
ATI Radeon X1250 Was ~500MB+ on vista but now it says 319MB o.0 weird.....
AMD Turion 64 X2 2.20Ghz


Maybe it's the graphic memory change that making it screwy?

Your computer is very weak I'd guess that is the problem (there would be no point in playing games on it anyway :p)

haha b4 i upgraded to 7. I could play gotcha force just fine but when i switched to 7 but now....the screen is distorted..not even laggin... haha guess ill have to retire from dolphin until i get a better one haha

Whelp, it's Saturday and still nothing new in the changelog. Any reason for there to be a new build this week?

Weird there hasn't been any changes in 10 days. Is there a major update on the way or something?

There doesn't have to be any updates for 1, 2 or 100 days. When someone feels like adding something new, they will.

That's true, but it just seems like a drug, and sometimes it's torture that us mere mortals must endure until we get our next commit fix.

Sorry then. Since I started following this there have been several updates per week and the sudden stop surprised me.

Oh well, I can wait.
