I understand that given my specs, Dolphin's wii emulator should work fine on my PC. I just got a pretty powerful graphics card. Some games, (such as Cooking Mama) run pretty fine if not for the occasional lag, and some other games (like Sonic Colors) are actually pretty slow. Here are my specs~
RAM: 6GB DDR2-800
HDD: 750GB
OS: Win7 x64
Graphics Card: Radeon HD5670 512MB
Any help would be appreciated, such as optimal settings, anything I can alter to make the program lag less and run more smoothly. Thanks!
Well post your settings and let's see what can be done.
Btw you haven't posted your cpu.

You're right, I didn't notice that until now.
That could be the main cause to this depending on what he got.

That CPU is kinda weak for Dolphin and is holding you back I'm afraid.
Overclock your CPU !
Or upgrade to Phenom @ 3.8Ghz
Even I don't get fullspeed on Sonic Color (25 FPS)
