Both of those people seem to have reached the point where the bottleneck is not the speed at which they can work out what to do, but the point at which they're limited by how fast they can move their hands.

By the way, it isn't that these people are wizards, it's just that there's an algorithm that you do in your head to tell you what to do for the next move. Once you know it, it takes the fun out of the Rubik's cube, but once you have it down to something you do on autopilot, then you can do this kind of race.

Type-posted. I've also seen the pink Rubik's cube before, and the same manufacturer (not Rubik's, though) makes a sudoku cube as well. I don't know about solving those, but they're a pig to fix after you drop them from a first storey window onto concrete. They never work so well once parts have been replaced with wooden spares.
