Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Almost everything is set up correctly, but when I click to play the game I get an error. Did I miss something? I feel the problem is with the DirectX setup, when I download it it doesn't appear to be in my laptop's files, and I've even downloaded the 64 bit version. Please help me in anyway you can.

What error? What game? What version of Dolphin? What settings? What are your PC specs? What did you eat today?

When I click to play the game it says Error loading plugins/plugin_PadSimple.dll: can't read info can't init any PAD plugins couldn't init the core check your configuration.

I'm trying to play Luigi's Mansion, or Mario Kart Double Dash
Heart both games a lot

What setting do you mean for me to tell you about?

Do you mean the specs given to me by CPUID?
Because my PC matches all the requirements needed for Dolphin

I had a meatball sandwitch from subway, it was super good lol

Please be patient with me, I'm a bit computer illiterate lol

Update your directx runtimes on your PC and it will work.

I just go into Dolphin and it'll play?

Ran the setup, but it still says the samething when I try and play the game
Do I have to restart my computer after installation or something?

If it says the same thing then you didn't install it. Run the setup file inside all the other files.
