Your GPU doesn't meet the minimum requirement for Dolphin . GT 120 is not made for gaming . In fact , I don't know what it is made for because no game except "minesweeper" can be run on it . The @OP had a very fast 1st gen core I Xeon . Unfortunately , Dolphin is a dual core application which mean all multi-core CPUs are pretty much useless for Dolphin . Comparing to my dual core CPU , Xeon x5680 doesn't hold a candle to mine due to being higher IPC
Base on latest Dolphin Benchmark , 3.3GHz Xeon that is based on 1st gen Core I series architecture is just a moderate CPU for Dolphin
Dolphin has became more compatible for most games and that does not come without cost . Losing performance is normal
