Hmm... Abstract and out of touch. I see the boxart really reflects the OS.

Moreover their packaging is awful

I won't use Windows 8, I'll stay on OS X 10.8

Lol, windows is doing a fallback, XP style and no real multitasking, also,they should rename Windows 8 to "No Windows" since there aren't any

I'll do a 30 day trial in a VM just to get the solitaire and minesweeper achievements.

Yeah they may have increased this

The only internet access I've had since I was last here was through a friend's laptop running windows 8. As you can see, I haven't used the internet, as I haven't been here. That is how annoying Metro is.

I am using win8
for some time now
i dont see any reason why i should not be using it
Operating memory usage is 1.1gb which is lol small
as usual i install application for dual monitors called "DisplayFusion" and it adds start button with all that win7 had on second monitor as my wish
while main monitor is pure and clean as i always wanted

metro can be moved to second monitor via win+PGUP which is quite lovely

anyway it works just pitchy.sticking to it.

I'm running windows 8 on my desktop and laptop. I don't like it on the desktop that much, but for laptops it fits pretty nicely. I only installed it because I needed a OS for 2 blank harddrives I bought and I didn't have a windows disk.

I can imagine the hotline going like this:

"I want to turn my computer off"
"I don't want this."
"I deleted my internet, halp"
"WHY AR THAIR THOSE STRANGE TABLET THINGS ON MY PC, THAT WASN'T THERE YESTERDAY!1!1!"
"I want to report a bug, the tablet interface is available on PC too"

Any humans with pc impaired parents know this

Also my dad tried windows 8 and almost wiped my hard drive. I dunno how he got there but he had no idea what he was doing^^
