I think I'm going to skip this one since Windows 7 is everything I need. Maybe I'll jump on the next OS instead.

I think that's how most of us feel actually. Windows 7 is already everything I wanted from a OS today and I wouldn't see any benefits from an upgrade neither from business or pleasure perspectives.
I might have to put an ancient 30GB drive in my PC and install it if I can find an IDE ribbon cable. I really want to find out if metro is as gamepad friendly as the metro style XBox 360 interface.
Agreed, I always wait a year or more to upgrade to a new OS anyways (and I skipped Vista) but I usually install a virtual machine just for curiosity, it's interesting to see the improvements/fuck ups.
Lets just hope the former outpaces the latter
I experienced more app bugs and crashes with consumer preview than the dev preview, but the interface itself makes much more sense to me now, and seems robust, just need some polishing, and they need to work on directx support for metro UI, it's a bit unstable imo.
I don't see a reason for a standard user to move from W7 right now. Maybe enhanced security for servers or mobile devices, but I'm keeping W7 for another year.
