Good. I was about to say wtf! there is more?!
It's been a pain in the a** already with all the x32-x64 porting. I don't think we are near the 128-bit era in at least 5 years or so.

About the looks, meh... Win7 is ok already, I mean, how intuitive can a Gui be? At least for a PC, it's not kids stuff only you know?
yeah, 32-bit was considered to be enough address space for awhile. i started using 64-bit windows xp with my athlon64 back in 2003. Eight years later: most games and consumer programs still do not use more than 4 gigs of memory. i suppose 128-bit addressing could be used in the processing of cgi for films.
bit First we need bit to get stable and compatible wich I am sorry but it is not, if compared to bit. And besides that, why the f@#$% do we need 128bit for like, the next 5 years? That kind of processing bandwidth (bus) would not be used at all, at least yet.. Not to talk about the RAM amount..
Unless you are thinking about professional film rendering or things like that, like inteGReddy said.
Windows 7 is something I'm sticking with for a long time.
I'm not going to like Windows 8 at all, I know it already now.

And what's up with the name and numbering, god please make a new name, better yet fire the one/ones working in that department.
Windows 7's name is OK, but Windows 8....how original.
Hopefully it changes as development continue to progress.

Ha ha if I know myself right and I do, I probably will buy "Windows 8" or what's it going to be called eventually, not right away.

That's just how I am, and it's exactly what I said with Vista and 7 and still ended up buying them.

I can't make up my mind about things and that's practically everything, which leads to impulse buys.
This is something I hate about myself, mood swings and constant changing opinions.

You mean you used to say you'll stick with Windows Vista over 7?

Damn...
