The fullscreen IE is abysmal and almost impossible to use, and even Facebook can't load. The only apparent way to type a new address in the address bar after another page has loaded is to hit F5, then highlight the bar that comes up before the page finishes loading. The IE loaded from the desktop, however, is fine and is working well at the moment.
Often when I type some, letters are skipped which never happened in Win7, so I'm guessing this is a driver problem.
Metro UI looks great, love the Segoe UI font too.
Gestures seem to have been disable on my trackpad, downgrading from Win7. They should work, because the game 'Copper' asks me to zoom in and out with a 2-finger pinch gesture and won't let me continue until I do.

So, if anyone has a solution to my problems or more comments, please post them!
EDIT: One more thing: I am getting constantly logged out of these forums with IE, which is a pain.

Sorry to say, that problem exists on Windows Vista with either (IE7?), IE8, IE9 or Windows 7 with IE8, IE9
Main reason not to use IE anymore is this place, Firefox get's the job done here to show the forums.

Until MS makes an option to disable require signed boot loader a requirement for the Win8 sticker the concern is still real.

Actually it's up to mobo maker to include the option on the uefi, but yeah, you don't even have to wait.

MS confirmed that its nor required and that it all depends on the BIOS

It is required... for Windows 8 certification. Which mean if you build your own system, this doesn't matter.

who the fuck cares about that? wanna bet when you buy a pc with win8 it will still have the option in bios and therefor it will still support other OS's?
I'm merely stating the fact, I don't care who'll care with it or how it's gonna be on prebuilt uefi. I build my own system.
OEMs are cheap and if adding this option, that 99% of their customers won't change, means they have to pay a programmer for an extra hour of work they might not bother. The once jokingly asked can it run Linux is now a real question.

OEM computers all use some bios of somebody else. so i dont think they'd remove the option when using the bios chip/firmware from a company
They all seem to use AMI going by looks. OEMs already remove those mostly useless nerdy tweaks. They no longer include the >64MB OS/2 fix so I can't use OS/2 <4.01. An extreme example but shows what OEMs will do save a buck.
