Anti-Alias (Direct3d11 - Dolphin 3.0) was disabled on Windows 8
Could anyone here confirm it ?

Works fine here for me.

Just tried it out a bit.
Seems to work perfectly fine, just like in Windows 7. Hmm actually, there may be some little improvements here and there.

OK, I guess it's to early to see any drastic results in this build then.
Maybe when the real betas or the RC have hit we can get a more accurate picture of how it's gonna turn out to be.

So far the newer kernel in Windows 8 is a lot more optimized and efficient compared to 7's kernel. I haven't tried out Windows 8, and I'll probably do it on my backup rig but Windows Developer Preview has already shown to use less resources than what 7 does(By 200mb in terms of ram usage so far tested, so this is really only beneficial to people with 2gb ram or less).

I don't think Windows Developer Preview will use the same resources as 8 will, for release they'll have to add a bunch of shit they're not doing right now, specially on boot sequence. That's just my guess tough, I'm going to try it out, I could be just wrong

It's really optimized under the hood. But the GUI... it's terrible. They've really strayed away from the standards.
How do you close apps which you have opened from the Metro inferface? Nothing that we are used to work, alt-f4 etc. You can only do it if you go to the taskmanager(ctrl-alt-delete) then kill the task. Otherwise its open forever.

I think this is what resources the final version of 8 will utilize, it might be a bit more or less, but it'll average somewhat on the WDP.
It boots it faster than W7 though, so that's a + .

ach, that kinda remind me of mac, that's one os i hope windows would not ever turn into. *shudder*

I agree with you here.

I only wish they could release two versions of Windows 8 on seperate DVD's.
One for them who wants the new Metro UI and like to touch things and one for them who want's the classic Windows.

If you're going have to tweak it in able to turn off the Metro UI and strictly running classic Windows then I see no point buying it.
I hope it flops...huge!
