Yeah that or if you use Windows 7, just a simple Windows XP virtual machine in Virtual PC 2007 SP1 is sufficient (Don't know if XP mode in 7 costs extra?)
I usually run Fallout 2 this way, works perfectly. Usually you'll have that XP disc lying around anyway.
Fallout 2 in general works perfectly in XP.

Anyway I think Fallout 3 is great and so is NV, I have almost spent 200 hours on them combined.

I'll soon replay them again.
virtualpc is junk.

And you are aware that second one can be run even on Windows 7 without much trouble right? The first one not so much though (they say it's possible, I didn't menage to do so), true....

Not really.

Quote:But why DOSbox? First one was made in 1997, the correct tool would be VirtualBox with Windows 95

not really. there are no vbox drivers for 95, including sound. Dosbox is safer than vm too.

There is really no point in virtual box if you use a OS before windows NT.
this is true :p but you won't find drivers for an i7 setup for Win9x

I assure you, it runs on Win7. Do not try to tell me that my gameplay through the whole game was an illusion Tongue Oh, and for answers when you encounter problems with a game - go to that game's community, not Windows Answers.

Everything you do is an illusion, you think it's air you breathing now?
Behind the illusion of our reality is a REAL MATRIX

if i'd do that now that would be "good" (if it was a bomb its good; else certain types ,if not everything depending on which red wire, would have no power D:< )

if i did that when there is a certain type of transistor and a few wire changes; that could end...not nice
