hi everybody
I hope this ain't prohibited question... is LLE better in last revisions?
I tried to play Beyblade (no sound unless LLE on...)
On 2.0 awful sound but no hangs
On r7280 perfect sound but repetitive hangs...
DSP LLE needs a powerful machine to emulate at full speed,So whatever revision you'll try..... it'll stutter.
You think it would work perfect on Intel Core I7 980X ?

It would be better on an i5-2500K or i7-2600K. Those newer processors have an improved architecture, unlocked multipliers, and can overclock quite a bit further. Dolphin likes raw clock speed over core count as it's nigh impossible to efficiently thread emulated instructions.
its crazy how the sandybridges are running at 4.4ghz with a good aircooler
coolder than with the standard intel cooler Big Grin

haha Sandybridges has the fastest processor that we can buy at the moment, I wish IBM's 5.2 ghz quad core processor with good cooler, and not overclocked lol

A little better, but can still be better. The problem is none of the devs are experts with this kind of stuff. So unless you are a very rich guy that can sustainably sponsor these guys or someone better, I doubt you will see any major improvements.

It's also not worth the effort to waste money on buying an expensive machine. Nobody will care in a few years.

ok but why did it hang on r7280? games run often slower would it be the same prob?

I wonder how far I can take my new 2600K baby with the water cooling...
4.8GHz hopefully.

Then LLE will fly.
LLE is a lot better providing you can run it without major slowdowns. It will fix numerous audio issues that exist with HLE audio. Those issues include bgm/music issues such as bgm stopping in Zelda Ucode games, issues with bgm fading in/out or stopping altogether in other games, missing or incorrect audio in some games, volume issues, black screens/hangs in some games due to issues with HLE audio, syncing issues and the list goes on. LLE audio is nearly perfect except for the slowdowns, the brief one second pauses of silence is not a bug, but a feature to keep audio and video in sync.
