AMD phenom II B55 quadcore @ 3200MHz
4gigs of memory

Should I turn on any of the fancier options beyond those detailed in the performance guide?

why dont you turn on different settings one by one and tell us

Should run most things in fullspeed at 1080p, if you turn off antialias..
