lol. To me, the latest dolphin revisions are considered Dolphin 3.0

I guess when they have solved the issues they want to solve before release then we can talk about 3.0.
But if we're talking about an potential time estimate here then we could speculate in what Starscream wrote, 500+ revisions.
Revision 7420 was released 29th of March and if we count 500 revisions back we get revision 6920 which was released the 25th of January.
Sum it up and we get 2 months, so hypothetically speaking we could have a 3.0 release by the end of May.
But let's just be patient, in the mean time follow this bug tracker for 3.0

On occasion, an issue cannot be fixed until another issue is fixed first. Project members can track which issues the current issue is blocked on by adding the issue ids in the 'Blocked on' field.
