If you guys take a look at the different Wii and GC games, you'll notice that the slowests are the more graphical consuming ones. If graphics wouldn't be a big trouble, 95% of the games that run would run at fullspeed.
Exactly. In which case, developers' time will be best spent improving the graphics plug-in rather than trying to implement something like multi-threading for the emulation of the CPU/GPU, which I'm not sure of the possibility of in the first place.
lets just stop i check the forum is been said like 100 time that is no gonna be a quad core optimization

And here you were, just asking why it can't be done.
manaurys Wrote:i havent see a clear anwer of why this cant happend isnt 4 better than 2

Not only that, but there are no particular gains to be made with the venture as far as I can tell.

if you'd look on the google code wiki's you'd notice we got 4 threads going on lol

I'm aware of that. What I meant by
"trying to implement something like multi-threading for the emulation of a single processor" was trying to have multiple threads for just one thing, like sound for example. AFAIK, Dolphin only has one thread for each thing, like a single thread for sound, a single thread for CPU/GPU etc. etc.
You didn't exactly read the whole of my post but then again I didn't exactly word it properly either, lol.
