I'm one of the doomed + I have good vision today and don't want to spend the rest of my life with glasses just because I wanted to play a specific game which happened to be in 3D.

Well I certainly ain't surprised about that at all, they didn't have a strong start-up for starters.
It might rise some when the more interesting titles start to come.
And guys remember in the beginning DS wasn't a success either...

agreed. to think that Nintendogs + Cats would be a good title to sell at release is stupid.
And you don't even get the cats at the start of the game, you need to unlock them... the nerve...
But then the awesome Castlevanias came to the DS and everyone worshiped it instantly and the sales went sky high.
