i didn't do anything, i just started the game, using the Dx9 plugin, opengl plugin, HLE DSP, LLE DSP, all work.

and YES there have been cases of disks that work on the console, not working on the emulator.

Okay. I "acquired" this from four different sources. All behave for me identically.

So I think we can rule out the bad rip theory.
Actually, no we can't. because those 4 sources could easily have the same original source. and since the game is working just fine for me, i think we stop beating around the bush and just hope daco doesn't ban you.

I just tried my copy on a windows machine, and it DOES work. However, still not working in OSX. I guess I can try to dick around in the code and see why this would be, though it'd be nice if someone more knowledgable could take a look and whats going on with the OpenGL renderer.

Would just be nice to play on the go on my laptop.
well the op is in windows so..... who knows, its working for us so.....

so why bother having additional OSes if you don't support them? yeah i know, same thing I'm wondering. Don't you worry, I'll handle it for you.
OSX is soren's gig, thats why i direct everyone to bug him about OSX bugs Big Grin
If it helps, the copy from the game that I have worked in r6364. I was able to play with very reasonable speeds (some slow down when a lot of farm animals were present) and the graphics and sound worked near-perfectly, aside from the aforementioned slow downs. Here are three screenshots I took today using various builds of Dolphin.

r5618: http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/2527/hmmmr5618.png (great FPS and VPS, running at 98 - 100%, but neither the New GCPad nor the GCPad Plug-in work, does have proper graphics)
r6722: http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1650/hmmmr6722.png (reasonable FPS and VPS, running at 65 - 75%, can use controls but no graphics aside from menu options)
r7424: http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/6607/hmmmr7424.png (great FPS and VPS, running at 98 - 100%, can use controls, but no graphics aside from menu options)

I have OpenGL enabled, my DirectX for Mac is up-to-date, as is my NVidia cg toolkit and MacPorts. I also have Xcode 3.2.6.

Revs that worked
r6364 that I used to use.

I found a non-dev build of r5618 on the forums here but the GCPad input fails to function. Dolphin crashes when I open the GCPad to put in my own keyboard controls. An old non-dev build of r6364 (from the same source as these non-dev builds) fixed this with a NewGCPad.ini, but my understanding is that Dolphin does not accept pad plug-ins anymore. The r6722 is from the same non-dev build source, which produced all my previous properly functioning revs, but sadly the current builds do not work on my machine.

Revs where it stopped working
When I tried to update to anything past r6100+ up to and including r7424 regardless of whether I was using Dolphin builds or non-dev builds.

My specs are:
13" MacBook
Mac OS X 10.6.7 (though I had 10.6.5 and 10.6.6 while playing with earlier revs)
2.26 GHz, Intel Core Duo
2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9400 M
its a mac issux, report it on the tracker so soren can see it.

i needed to uncheck ignore format changes in graphic settings for the game to render correctly
